Socialite and parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency John Dumelo has been found implicated in a project that was partly sponsored by the sitting MP’s at the University of Ghana.
According to sources available to gabsfeed.com, John Dumelo swayed himself into the commissioning of the project named “Mrs. Alexina Arthur’s Discussion E Learning Centre”, which had officially started and executed by the JCR of Hilla Limann Hall in the University of Ghana.

This happened when the sitting MP, Mrs. Lydia Alhassan Seyram, who was invited to commission the project, couldn’t show up at the ceremony for a government duty.
Hence, Dumelo took advantage of the MP’s absence by initiating the commissioning of the project in the hall while later credited it to himself and his team.

”According to the details of the issue as indicated by the JCR of Hilla Limann Hall, Mr. John Dumelo however made a donation of a 1.5 horsepower air conditioner, but this contribution was not solicited by the JCR or recognized through any official invitation or acknowledgement” Regan Osei Bonsu JCR President can confirm.
Following, it was found that Mr. John Dumelo and his team had shared a video online allegedly crediting himself with the just-commissioned project for the academic survival of students at the University of Ghana.

”Even though we like Dumelo, but we don’t know why he did that, if he did that to gets the hearts of students to vote for him come December 2024, then it is not nice at all’‘, one lady said
“The public and the entire University of Ghana students should note the JCR takes full credit for the renovation of the reading room, and any claims suggested otherwise are false and unsubstantiated,” a new statement from the JCR says.
