Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, predicted that the ruling All Progress Congress (APC) will win the 2023 presidential election and transfer power to another APC government as the general elections in 2023 draws near and with fewer than seven months left in the term of the Buhari-led APC government.

According to THISDAY, the president’s wife stated in an interview on BBC on Friday that the current APC would win the presidential election again in 2023 and that her husband, President Buhari, would succeed to another APC-led administration. She also urged Nigerians to be patient with the ruling party if, after seven years, their expectations had not been satisfied.
She added that when the current administration took office, Nigerians had high expectations for it, but the government had done its best. Humans cannot simply assert their own righteousness or compliance with the law.
Therefore, despite their best efforts and efforts to try, the Buhari-led government may not yet be the greatest in the eyes of others.

They feel that they have given their best effort, and thus, whether or not we have lived up to Nigerians’ expectations, we must apologise to them.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who is running for president in the 2023 presidential election, pledged in his 80-page manifesto, which was unveiled in Abuja on Friday, to end the contentious petrol subsidy that costs the country trillions of Naira every year and to address the forex crisis that is stifling the economy.
