Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, was born in 1896. It is worth noting that Ghanaians have set aside September 21st to commemorate Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s contributions.

However, according to Captain Smart, the late President John Evans Atta Mills and former President John Dramani Mahama’s administrations borrowed more from foreign countries than Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s administration.

The Rawlings’ administration, according to Captain Smart, was not an exception, nor was the current NPP government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah.
