“I am in Benue State Visiting and Sympathizing with Victims Affected by the Flood,” Peter Obi said in a statement. The public responded quite strongly to this act of generosity.
Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, was photographed cheering and mingling among flood victims, who all appeared satisfied with him.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, was in Benue State. Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State immediately recognised and embraced him, and he was extremely happy to see him.
