Sunday Asefon, the coordinator of the Tinubu/Shetima Students Vanguard and the recent past president of the National Association of Nigerian Students, stated that their support for Tinubu was due to the fact that he has the requisite traits to lead the nation well and bring about critical changes in the education sector, among other things.

Supporting the APC’s nominee is crucial because “the outcome of the 2023 election would have enormous repercussions on the lives of the young population,” according to Asefon, who spoke at a world press conference conducted by the TSSV leadership in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
