According to a report published this morning by the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper Online, Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has disclosed the presidential candidate he will support in the upcoming 2023 presidential election.
During an interview with some chosen journalists in Abia State yesterday, the governor stated that the presidential candidate he supports is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar because they are members of the same party.
Fair enough, he stated that the sole problem that could occur is if their clamour against Iyorchia Ayu is not met before the state’s upcoming presidential election.
“There will be no fight between Atiku Abubakar and me. He is my presidential nominee. I don’t have any other candidates, but when one reaches a certain point in life and a vehicle is offered for a journey, every kid will take it. However, as a mature man, you will be questioned about the vehicle’s destination, “he noted.
