I Advised The Candidates To Halt Their Campaigns And Deal With The Flood, But Only One Listened – Rufai

According to a remark made by Oseni Rufai, co-host of Arise TV, only one presidential contender in the upcoming 2023 presidential election listened when he advised them to halt their campaigns and focus on the flood.

He cited Oseni Rufai when he remarked, “I urged all the presidential contenders to halt their campaigns and deal with the floods, but none listened. Empathy must be displayed.

Recall that on Wednesday, Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate and former governor of the state of Anambra, paused his campaign to travel to the flood-affected areas of Nigeria.

Peter Obi visited the state of Benue on Wednesday as part of his efforts to help the flood victims. His Excellency Gov. Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, welcomed him and thanked him for coming.
