Duties
Working with the US Embassy Ghana is a good deal thus there are certain duties and responsibilities that would be assigned to you if you are selected.
The functions of the Program Assistant will consist of assisting the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Country Attaché with the administrative oversight of the DEA’s program and funds.
Responsible for international travel, procurement of accountable equipment, payment of rental facilities, oversight of vehicles, as well as a myriad of other administrative functions.
The Program Assistant will work closely with DEA Headquarters’ Program Office in assisting with the data entry of information into DEA’s database which includes equipment and inventory updates as well as personnel tracking.

EXPERIENCE: You are required to have minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in quantitative analysis, prepared reports and briefings on the results of studies, budgetary resources long-range implementation and administration of major programs, with an emphasis on budgeting and financial management are required.
Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite of products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Adobe Pro; and database management software.
Education Requirements/Background:
Two years of college/university is required.

COVID-19 Requirements for Eligible Family Members
As required by Executive Order 14043, Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Temporary Appointment (TEMP) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law.
