Honorable Sam Nartey George, member of parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, has addressed a message to Ghanaians who have yet to register their sim cards.
Sam George recently disclosed on Facebook that he is 100% certain and confident that no sim card in Ghana will be blocked on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.
“I am very certain that NO SIM card will be blocked tomorrow! This is a success for Ghanaians who have been waiting for the NIA to create their Ghana Cards. God and Country, “he stated.
Ursula Owusu, the Minister of Communications, has stated on multiple occasions that any Ghanaian who does not register his or her sim card by September 30, 2022 may find himself or herself without service on October 1, 2022. This implies their sim cards will be disabled.
Many Ghanaians who have not registered their sim cards do so on purpose. They have not received their Ghana Cards, which would allow them to register. Sam George argues that the Ministry of Communications will not block Ghanaians’ sim cards on October 1, 2022.
