These rumours were confirmed by a PDP source who disclosed that Atiku sent Mark, Ibori, and Odili to the governor of Rivers to plead for him.

They claimed that the reason the campaign’s activities were suspended was so that the three PDP power brokers could approach Wike for reconciliation, which was connected to Atiku’s decision to beg Wike.
