A lawmaker from the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), allegedly said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) failed to uphold its end of the bargain with the hired crowd, which is why the party’s recent campaign rally in Kaduna state was hijacked by thugs.

On Thursday, October 20, 2022, during Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily broadcast, politician Samuel Yohanna is alleged to have said this.
There isn’t a single political party, the Kaduna politician continued, that doesn’t hire people to attend its rallies and campaigns.
He stated as follows:
“There is no political party that does not hire crowds. Simply put, the levels are different. Occasionally, 25%, and other times, 10%.95 percent of the time.”

According to Yohanna, a former assistant organising secretary for the APC in Kaduna state, the PDP broke its end of the bargain with hired crowds, which is what caused the disturbance of the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s event on October 17, 2022, in Kaduna.
