Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party candidate for president, gave an overview of some of his proposals for the north of Nigeria on Monday. If elected in 2023, these plans will be implemented.

He claims that some of his key objectives for the North are in the areas of agriculture, education, and security.
During a dialogue with the Arewa Joint Committee in Kaduna State, Peter Obi made the remark.

“The entire agricultural community will re-enter the farm for the 2023 growing season. We’ll turn the North’s arable soil into fresh sources of gold and oil.
“With the help of the federal government and partnerships with international organisations, we will enhance the quality of the educational system in Northern Nigeria at all levels.”
The region’s security issues would also be permanently resolved, he added.

Along with that, Obi stated that he will address the nation’s problems on the home front and abroad. The narrative needs to be altered, he continued, as Nigerians have experienced great suffering.
