In response to Peter Obi’s announcement that the Labour Party campaign has been suspended, the PDP’s national publicity secretary said in an interview that the LP presidential candidate is attempting to politicise it in order to gain from it.

Remember that Peter Obi publicly announced his campaign’s halt and urged his supporters and the other candidates to do the same when he visited Benue State to aid the state’s flood victims.

In relation to this, Debo Ologunagba said he anticipated Peter Obi would assist the flood victims without pausing his campaign. He continued by saying that if he is unable to multitask, he is not prepared to lead the nation.

He asserted, “I don’t believe someone should take advantage of the misery of others and politicise it. If the Labour Party’s presidential candidate actually wanted to do it, I would anticipate that he wouldn’t do it by declaring that he wanted to halt campaigning. We refer to this as multitasking. He is unfit to serve as our country’s president if he is incapable of multitasking.
