Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential Campaign Council, has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential nominee, Atiku Abubakar, to quit the election.

Keyamo claimed that Atiku should withdraw from the race because he was using the ethnic code in the run-up to the 2023 presidential election.
According to reports, Atiku pleaded with all Northerners to back him rather than a candidate with Igbo or Yoruba ancestry.

However, the All Progressives Party spokesperson believes that Atiku’s remark poses a danger to the country.
He believed that someone who declared his intention to run for president of Nigeria would go so far as to disparage and criticise other ethnic groups for political reasons.
As a result of what Atiku has done, it is clear that he lacks leadership qualities, he stressed.
