On Saturday, Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, OON, a member of the National Assembly representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, claimed that those calling for the removal of the Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, Rt. Hon. Abiodun James Faleke was indirectly plotting the demise of the APC and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections.

He warned those behind the plot to avoid such a malevolent move, adding that Faleke’s track record and commitment to the beginnings of the APC presidential candidate are substantial proof of what he can do to help secure the APC’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

He further told the reporters that the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, a member of the National Assembly representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency, was suitable for the position and would skillfully handle the Presidential Campaign Council’s secretarial affairs.

“I would like to warn those pushing for Rt. Hon. Faleke’s resignation as Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to refrain from such devious behaviour,” he said.

“It is a heinous crime. These actions are being carried out by those preparing for the demise of the APC and Tinubu in 2023. Faleke did not sleep because he was doing everything he could to rally support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu across the country’s 774 council areas.

“Where were they when he was campaigning for Tinubu across the country with his salary? They want to use their evil mentality against Tinubu because they were unable to rally support for him at the convention, and Falake and the rest of Asiwaju’s kitchen cabinet made it work. ” Hon. Faleke is a friendly person with a high level of acceptability. He is a very open-minded person who gives everyone their due, approval, and attention. As a result, those calling for his dismissal believe the APC will lose the election next year.

“Faleke has accomplished much, and if he hadn’t been from Lagos, we would have recommended that he become the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council, but the current DG is also quite capable.”

And no one should interfere with the Campaign Council’s composition; rather, we should appoint to the Council renowned, reliable, and incredibly brave individuals who will safeguard the APC’s electoral success.
