The results of the general election in Nigeria will decide the successor to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and the APC’s presidential candidate, has bragged about transforming Lagos from a jungle to a megacity. When Tinubu served as governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, he claimed that the city had “come alive.”

In an interview with Channel Television, Tinubu made this claim.
When Tinubu became the governor of Lagos state in 1999, he claimed that Lagos was a jungle. He claimed that Lagos was an entirely barbaric environment, so he put things together and turned the state’s liabilities into assets.

According to Tinubu, he laid the groundwork for all subsequent governors of Lagos State to build upon in order to transform the city into what it is presently.
