In this interview with Vanguard, Dr. Mustapha Muhammadu Inua, the immediate former Secretary to the Katsina State Government, discusses what the ruling APC may face in the 2023 general election, as well as the turmoil gripping the party in President Muhammadu Buhari’s home state.

Dr. Muhammadu, who was also the previous Chairman of the APC in the state and Commissioner of Education, among other things, stated that the APC’s issues in Katsina State are the result of a lack of purposeful leadership. With the country still suffering from hunger and instability, he fears that the APC will suffer a greater setback than the PDP did in 2015.
