A chef on the X app, @tinugrills, took to her social media to lament Toyin Abraham’s refusal to pay for a meal she ordered from her while in Ilorin for her meet and greet for her popular movie “The Ghost and the Tout”.
Toyin Abraham had taken to her X app, five days after the death of Mohbad to offer her condolences asking the government to ensure justice so that the healing process could begin.
The chef quoted the tweet saying,
“Toyin alabosian, you better pay my money”
It seemed like this statement aggravated the actress who immediately blocked her on the platform. This enraged the chef who promised to drop evidence the next morning.
Early this morning, the chef took to her account to narrate the story, explaining how on the 8th of October 2021, Toyin ordered food for herself and her team consisting of, 2ltr Jollof rice, 2ltr fried rice with turkey wings, everything worth around 40k but she cannot recollect the exact amount as it had been a while.
According to the chef, Toyin Abraham had thoroughly enjoyed the meal while assuring the chef that her manager would reach out to sort the bills but to date, nobody had contacted her.
She also claims Toyin Abraham and her management reached out to her after she made the post, with Toyin claiming she couldn’t remember such an event while calling her a witch and asking her to delete it. She refused to do so until she got paid.
An X user on the platform, @larmmy, stood solidly behind the chef, stating that the renowned Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, had also tried to do this to a friend of hers, claiming she rides on trending topics, tries to order from the vendor and not pay.
