According to Ghanaian media reports, the opposition party, the Nana National Democratic Congress, NDC, is heavily involved in the booing of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

This incident made Kevin Taylor react to the whole issue.

According to Kevin Taylor, some of the people in the Ashanti region and other provinces are hypocrites. Therefore, they should not condemn those who booed President Nana Akufo-Addo.

He claimed that the New Patriotic Party is attempting to deceive Ghanaians to make the whole thing look as if the opposition party, the NDC, is behind the booing of the President.

He further stated that the Ashantis did the same to John Mahama, but nobody condemned the youth for hooting the former President when he visited the Ashanti region.

Kevin Taylor stressed that Asantes should refrain from such weirdness and call “a spade, a spade.”

Because it was unexpected, the occurrence appears to have provoked a considerable public reaction.

The NDC party has defended itself with alarming details about the affair.

As a result, the NDC is encouraging the government and the ruling New Patriotic Party to follow suit and endeavour to ease the suffering of Ghanaians.
