Regarding the country’s security issues, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has assured Nigerians that the country’s security problems will be resolved by the end of 2022.
Nevertheless, the minister of interior made this announcement while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria Forum in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
During the interview, he asserted that Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has promised that before his term of office ends in 2023, he will properly address the state’s security problem.
Based on the message delivered by Rauf Aregbesola, President Muhammadu Buhari gave orders to security services to reinstate peace and order to Nigerians by the end of the year.
“President Muhammadu Buhari gave the time limit for the complete elimination of such dangers to the safety of individuals and assets by December,” he noted.
“I am aware that nobody is taking it easy in all the arms of government with the goal of maintaining law and order, providing security, and eradicating threats,” he added.
President Buhari’s wish is to eliminate all the necessary security issues in Nigeria before his term of office comes to a close.
Can he fulfill his promise? What is your take?
