Shalina Healthcare has reiterated its commitment to quality and affordable healthcare delivery in Africa.

The multinational company made this declaration during its 40-year celebration in Lagos and award to staff. It also announced an expansion plan across Nigeria.

The Chief Commercial Officer, West Africa, Arun Raj, said the company is determined to fulfill its corporate mission of making quality products available to every African at affordable prices. He said: “It has been 40 years of trust in Africa, and the people have also reciprocated the trust in our quality products and healthcare delivery.”

For the company’s Head of Corporate Marketing, Folorunso Alaran, Shalina Healthcare is building on the trust Africans have in its products and services over the years and will continue with its commitment to a healthier Africa.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer, Shalina Consumer Global, Mr Nirmal Jain, believes that every African must have access to good products, adding that through their many initiatives and healthcare interventions, the company has raised the bar in healthcare delivery.

The CEO Shalina Pharma Global, Mr Debajeet Mukherjee, emphasised that despite the economic challenges, the company is committed to expanding to other parts of the country. “We believe that economic challenges should not hinder people’s access to quality healthcare. Whether the economy is good or bad, it shouldn’t affect the lives of the people adversely. When some other companies are leaving Nigeria, we are expanding because we have trust and believe in Nigeria,” he said.

The company’s Managing Director, Nigeria, Opeyemi Akinyele, said the company is focused on promoting the best of healthcare delivery while aiming to become the number one brand in the country.
