Yes, and even myself, I prayed on UG management to extend the course registration deadline because I was panting and didn’t know what to do… Joey, a 3rd year pharmacy student
The last week saw Jeffery Adu-Yeboah, aka Jay Lit’s engagement with UG management to extend the course registration for students who have not been able to pay their fees and register their courses.
His advocate came when scores of students had reached out to him that they have not been able to pay their fees and that they are on ‘a ‘student loan trust fund’, for’ which the monies haven’t been paid.
Not only did Jay Lit engage management for an extension of the course registration deadline, but it was also widely circulated that the ace student leader reached out to NGOs to solicit for funds to pay for the academic fees of some students in the University of Ghana.
The students were randomly chosen from the four colleges in the university, namely, the College of Health Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Basic and Applied, and the College of Humanities.
In a media engagement, Jay lit appreciated the effort of management for hearing the plea of students and all they very people who contributed in generating the funds for his fellow students.
“I am glad you’ve extended the course registration deadline,” he said.
Despite the fierce competition, our ground checks tick Jay lit to leading the student body in the offing UGSRC Administration after his smooth conversation with management proof capable, hence representing the entire student body.
