No student talks about restrictive halls in the University of Ghana without the mentioning of the Priemer Hall, Legon

Several complains was received through the JCR President, Mr. Justice Atta Sarfo which generated a lot of anger among students and residents in the hall who would want host visitors and others

While the restrictions were unwelcome, it was set in place to mitigate the rampant theft cases recorded in the hall

The move was to safeguard valuable items of residents in the hall against exploiters

However a memorandum received on 13th June from the Senior Hall Tutor, Dr. Alfred Ato Yankson suggests that residents are now permitted to receive visitors
