In a bid to enhance the living conditions and overall experience of students residing in Legon Hall, Joshua, an aspirant in this year’s JCR elections, has expressed his unwavering commitment to working closely with the hall’s management.
As he prepares to take on the role as President of Legon Hall JCR for the 2024/2025 academic year, Joshua has made it clear that his primary goal is to address the pressing challenges and needs of the resident Students.

Joshua, popularly known as manager has been a dedicated and proactive student leader who is already taking significant steps to ensure that the concerns of the hall’s residents are not only heard but also acted upon.
“I have made calls and am ready to work with the hall’s management to suit the needs of the residents,” Joshua stated confidently.

Speaking to Joshua M. Neetege, he emphasized that one of the most critical issues that he aims to tackle is the recurring problem of water shortages.
Over the past few years, residents have frequently faced disruptions in their water supply resulting in significant inconvenience and discomfort.
It is in the light of this that Joshua has pledged to work with the hall’s management to find a sustainable solution to this problem.
“Ensuring a consistent and reliable water supply is a top priority. I will advocate for necessary repairs and upgrades to the water system to prevent future shortages,” he assured.
In addition to addressing the water issue, Joshua is also committed to improving the physical infrastructure within the hall. Many residents have voiced concerns about the state of the furniture in their rooms, particularly the chairs, which are often old and uncomfortable.
Joshua plans to push for the replacement of worn-out chairs with new, ergonomic ones to enhance the comfort and well-being of the students.
“Comfortable living conditions are essential for academic success and overall well-being. I will work diligently to ensure that our living spaces are conducive to both studying and relaxation,” he emphasized
To this end, he intends to organize regular town hall meetings where students can voice their concerns and provide feedback directly to the hall’s management. “Open communication is key and I want every resident to feel heard and valued.
Together, we can create a better living environment for all,” Joshua affirmed.
