Students with these grades category still has the opportunity to enroll in tertiary institutions and pursue market-relevant programs, this is how it to go tertiary now

1. Higher National Diploma(HND)

Many technical universities in Ghana accept students who obtained a minimum of grade D7 in core subjects provided they achieve at least a C6 in their relevant electives

Most importantly, these HND programmes cover a range of technical and career focused fields than in the universities

After completing a three(3) year HND programme, students can opt for a Degree top-up to obtain a bachelors degree

2.Access Pre-HND Programmes

For students who obtained E8 in core subjects and three revelant electives, the ACCESS PRE-HND Programme is an excellent option.

This is a one year preparatory or access course offered by technical universities. Upon a successful completion, students are transitioned or enrolled into a three year HND Programme

HND Programmes in most technical universities are primarily focus on STEM thus Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines

Civil Engineering

Agricultural Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Nursing Technology

Medical Laboratory Sciences

Actually these courses equip the students with skills and knowledge suited for industrial growth and needs

Affordable fees

Depending on the technical university you want to attend, the cost of persuing an HND or Pre-HND programme is relatively between GHC1,200 to GHC2000 annually
