Northern Ladies’ midfielder Wasiima Mohammed has received a late call-up to the Black Queens’ camp in Morocco ahead of the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Wasiima, a former Black Princesses midfielder, was part of the players assessed by the technical team led by Coach Kim in Prampram last month. She replaces Abigail Kofi Kim, who is unavailable for the training camp and tournament.

Wasiima has arrived in Morocco and will participate in the remaining training sessions, making her available for selection in upcoming friendly matches and the tournament.

The 2025 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled for Morocco from July 5-26, 2025.
