A group, the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has inaugurated and empowered its Ebonyi State Chapter with a call for intensified grassroots mobilisation to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and ensure his re-election in 2027.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Abakaliki on Saturday, the National Coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Enwere, described the event as a “special and historic occasion” aimed at strengthening the socio-political fabric of the South East within the broader vision of a “better Nigeria.”

According to Enwere, SERHA is a socio-political movement comprising men, women, and youths of diverse backgrounds across Nigeria, with a particular focus on the South East.

Enwere said the group is committed to promoting the values of good governance, quality service delivery, and the developmental strides of the Tinubu administration.

“Our mission is to continue to support, encourage, and promote the values of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership in delivering quality governance,” Enwere said. “The sound leadership and bold imprint of President Tinubu on the nation’s development index have tremendously impacted Nigeria’s socio-political landscape.”

Highlighting the recent establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), Enwere noted that it presents new opportunities for Ndi-Igbo to benefit from federal initiatives and called for more collaboration to unlock greater dividends for the region.

He commended the vision and political will of stakeholders present and congratulated the newly inaugurated executives and members of the Ebonyi State Chapter. He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by becoming “good ambassadors of positive change.”

Enwere charged the chapter to embark on massive grassroots mobilisation to secure President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. “The task ahead is enormous. You are hereby empowered to spread the gospel of this administration to all and sundry,” he declared.

The event attracted political stakeholders, community leaders, and youths from across the state, signalling SERHA’s determination to expand its grassroots structures and consolidate its presence in the South East ahead of the next general elections.
