The Ministry of Health (MoH) in Ghana has announced that the technical issue affecting the recruitment portal for Ghanaian nurses applying to work in Barbados has been resolved.

The application process is now open, effective today, Thursday, August 15, 2024, until Thursday, August 22, 2024.

In a statement released by the ministry and signed by the Chief Director, Alhaji Hafiz Adam, registered nurses who are eligible to apply are directed to access the forms on the ministry’s website at hr.mov.gov.gh

Applicants should click on the “Barbados application” and follow the instructions to submit their applications.

The ministry emphasizes that they do not have an alternative application portal or middlemen regarding the recruitment of nurses to Barbados.

Any suspicious activity should be reported to the Chief Director.

The recruitment drive is a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the Government of Barbados, offering opportunities for Ghanaian nurses to work in various healthcare facilities in the Caribbean nation

5. The positions cover areas such as general nursing, accident and emergency, critical care, medical or surgical nursing, neonatal intensive care, oncology, radiotherapy, operating theater, ophthalmology, artificial kidney, and pediatric nursing

5.Eligible applicants must be diploma or undergraduate degree general nurses registered with the Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with a minimum of 3 years of work experience post-registration

5. They must also possess relevant postgraduate qualifications in their respective fields

5.Interested nurses are encouraged to visit the Ministry of Health’s recruitment portal at hr.mov.gov.gh and apply before the deadline on Thursday, August 22, 2024

5. This opportunity presents a chance for Ghanaian nurses to gain international experience and contribute to healthcare delivery in Barbados.
