In a recent statement issued by the University of Ghana public affairs directorates, ‘‘Graduands of the University of Ghana’s February 2025 congregation will receive their degrees without medals and scroll holders’ due to procurement setbacks”, a new headline which has cast shadow on the hopes of many University of Ghana graduating students who wanted this to pride their sole ceremony
The official notice dated February 10, 2025, where the Academic Affairs Directorate informed graduands that the distribution of these items has been delayed.
According to the release, efforts are underway to ensure their delivery, and graduates will be notified of collection arrangements in due course.
The graduation ceremonies commence on February 11, with over 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students ready to receive their degrees in 17 separate sessions over the next two weeks thus from 11th to 21st February 2025
