The Premier Hall in the University of Ghana popularly known as Legon Hall have published its vacation stay guidelines and price list for this semester’s vacation stay in for the 2024/2025 academic year
In a letter dated February 28th ,2025 the Senior Hall tutor Dr. Monica Mensah Danquah noted the following to students who are interested in staying behind during the vacation period for the first semester of the 2024 /2025 academic year;
“The Hall Management extends its warmest wishes to you all as you write the end of your first
semester examinations. We hope you achieve the best possible results.
As the semester comes to an end, we wish to inform you of the arrangements for the upcoming
vacation period.
Key Dates:
End of first semester: March 10, 2025
Vacation Period: March 12- May 2, 2025
Please note that no vacation stay will be permitted within Legon Hall during this vacation
period. This among others is due to essential renovation works that the Hall will be undertaking.
Residents are required to make alternative accommodation arrangements during this vacation
period if need be. Residents are hence to leave the Hall not later than Monday March 10, 2025, at 5:00 pm GMT.
However, Students required to take re-sit examinations may request authorization to stay in the Hall during the examination period. To do so, please present proof of your re-sit schedule to the Senior Tutor. Authorized students will be required to pay for their stay during this period.
The public release, its also stated the departure procedures which must be followed by every resident
Departure Procedures:
Before departing for the vacation, all residents are required to adhere to the following
procedures:
a) Thoroughly clean your rooms.
b) Remove all personal belongings.
c)Leave wardrobe keys inside the wardrobe.
d)Deposit your room keys at the Hall Assistants’ lodges and sign out.
e) Failure to comply with these directives will result in penalties”
