Dignitaries from Nigeria and the diaspora have poured glowing tributes on Rebecca Omokamo Godwin-Isaac, chief executive officer of Homadil Realty Ltd, describing her as a beacon of selflessness, humility, and national service.

The encomiums came during a birthday celebration held in her honour on July 5, 2025, an event that drew prominent personalities from politics, business, and international communities.

Among those who paid tribute was Omobayo Godwins, a former deputy governor of Edo state, who described the celebrant as “a selfless and benevolent Nigerian” whose contributions to national and human development stand out.

His words: “She has distinguished herself as a hardworking and resourceful woman.

“Her integrity, character and meekness are worthy of emulation. She has not only contributed to national progress but has consistently put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden.”

He commended her ongoing commitment to peace and empowerment, especially through support for youth and women development.

Also speaking at the event, Erima Onah, a Nigerian based in Dallas, Texas, said she travelled to Nigeria specifically to honour Godwin-Isaac.

Onah said: “She is an epitome of meekness. She is someone who goes out of her way to please others, even at her own inconvenience.

“I left all my engagements in the US just to celebrate a rare gem who has written her name in the sands of time.”

A guest from the United Kingdom, Barr. Bimbo, described the celebrant as “a colossus” whose magnanimity and humility remain unmatched.

Her words: “She is full of love and smiles no matter what. Becky is simply a blessing to all generations.”

The birthday celebration was attended by people from all walks of life who came together to honour a woman many described as “a symbol of compassion, service, and unwavering grace.”
