Applying to UEW doesn’t require stringent procedures
Here we explain all the different steps you need to go through when applying for programmes at UEW.

Complete application form on University’s website at uew.edu.gh/admissions using your Voucher PIN
Ensure you have soft copies of your results/certificate, passport picture, national identity card, active phone number and email address.
Note: Applicants seeking admission for graduate programmes are required to submit referees report by email to uewsgs@uew.edu.gh

Direct: Friday, November 29, 2024
Mature: Friday, November 1, 2024
Sandwich: Friday, August 30, 2024
Entry Requirements
1. WASSCE Holders
- Must have at least, six (6) WASSCE Credit passes (A1-C6) comprising three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies, as well as
- Three (3) Electives in relevant subjects with the total aggregate of 36 or better.
- Must also satisfy Special Programme requirement(s) for programme(s) chosen.
2. School Certificate/GCE Holders
- Five (5) credits at GCE “O” Level, comprising English Language and Mathematics as well as
- Two (2) “A” Level passes other than General Paper in relevant subjects.
3. Diploma Holders
- Applicant must possess a College Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent from an accredited institution.
