UG Student Afronita, Abigail land finale spot on Britain’s Got Talent with wonderful performance

The last word we remember the judge Amanda Holden used in describing Ghanaian dancers Afronita and Abigail’s semi-final performance on the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent was ”unbelievable”

Danita Akosua Yeboah (Afronita) and Abigail have reached the finals of Britains Got Talent.

The two delivered an electrifying dance routine that left both the audience and the judges in stunning awe, showcasing their extraordinary talent and expressing their Ghanaian heritage.
They used the popular hit songs by Fuse ODG’s “Azonto,” Beyoncé’s “Run The World,” and Toofan’s “Gweta” among others last night

Watching , their performance earned them a standing ovastion ,leaving the crowd pouring them praises when the judges passed their evaluation on their performances

“Looking at you makes me happy; you really are a tonic for the spirit. Your individual style of dancing is so unique and beautiful, your musicality is out of this world and your personality really shines through. Love you, love you,” judge Bruno Tonioli told them.

Even the notoriously tough judge Simon Cowell praised Afronita and Abigail, stating, “When you’ve got it, you’ve got it.”

He noted that the Ghanaian dancers left him stumped and, although he was certain who would win the competition a day before, their mesmerizing routine had him questioning his prediction.

Afronita after the competition said she felt blessed to have made it thus far in the ongoing competition.

She added “This is a big testimony for me, for Abigail, for Ghana and for everyone that supports us. We are so grateful. It’s been so emotional…thanks to God and everyone.”
