Scammers defraud bishop Obinim, seeks public help

Bishop Daniel Kwadwo Obinim, the controversial Ghanaian preacher, has publicly claimed that he has been defrauded after hackers took control of his social media accounts. 

According to Obinim, these individuals are using his platforms to solicit funds from unsuspecting followers, impersonating him.

Obinim made this known via social media, where he cautioned his followers about the ongoing fraudulent activities. He clarified that he is not the one requesting money and that individuals making such requests in his name are scammers.

Videos circulating online show Obinim expressing his distress and urging his followers to be vigilant. He emphasized that he would never ask for money through social media and that any such requests should be treated as fraudulent, he cautioned his follwers

This is not the first time a public figure in Ghana has been a victim of social media impersonation and fraud.
