In a few hours past, Legon Hall Congress has donated a brand-new podium to the Junior Common Room. A new report from the leadership of Congress has said
The University of Ghana has a history of serving as a training ground for future leaders, home and abroad, for students who show interest in leadership abilities.
This is why you would see students from all walks of life contest for leadership positions in various areas within the university, such as departments, halls, and unions, to shape their thoughts and experiences about leadership.
Under the leadership of RT. Hon. Wilfred Chinbuah, Legon Hall Congress donates a podium to the Legon Hall JCR.
According to the report, “The 2023/2024 Legon Hall Congress has donated a podium to the Junior Common Room (JCR) to support student leadership and provide a platform for effective communication.”.
RT. Hon. Wilfred further explained that the donation is part of their commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus community.
In attendance were, the Legon Hall Master Dr. Ato Yankson (Middle right) the Senior Hall Dr. Monica Mensah (Left ), Hon.Stephen Okyere G lower floor rep , Hon. Emelia Oparebea the current Rt.Hon. (far right) and the 1st deputy Speaker of congress and secretary of congress-Jonathan Nana Danquah
Going forward student leaders will be proud to use this podium to facilitate campus leadership course.
Legon Hall and the entire JCR Congress have proven that it is the premier among other halls, as you won’t find this in any other hall.
