Finding happiness: You have to be lucky

At first glance, this happiness is often very small. But its effect can be powerful. The little one we want to tell you about first has long ears and soft fur. It is a brown hare, it was very small and was lying defenseless on a path when the British political advisor Chloe Dalton met it for the first time somewhere in the north of England. This changed her life, for the very best. She wrote a book about it, Bunny and me, which was published in German this year.

When I read it, I thought: Well, not everyone is lucky enough to live in the country, and I’ve never had a baby hare stand in my way. But reading it led me to other thoughts, about my own life: Where was my happiness this year? Where was it on the way, did I notice it?
