University of Ghana Residential Fees released 2025/2026 Academic Year
The University of Ghana has release the release fees payable for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
The fees saw a little appreciation yet affordable owing to the present Ghanaian economic doldrums
These includes traditional hall fees and UGEL Halls
For undergraduate freshers , the traditional halls in the University of Ghana comprises of ;
Legon hall
Mensah Sarbah Hall
Common Wealth Hall
Akuafo Hall
Volta Hall
The fees are paid on semester basis yet students are allowed to pay annually depending one one’s financial budget
The charge per semester for freshers is pegged at GHC 1,250 and continuing local students is GHC 1,125
Hence the year charge for freshers is tabled at GHc2,500 while undergraduate continuing local students is GHC 2,250
For international students the price is pegged at 510 USD per semester

In addition to this it clearly stated that all Ghanaian fresh students who will be admitted into residence will make an additional payment of GHC100.00 as a levy for Generator (one offpayment)
Moreover , all Ghanaian fresh students at the traditional halls (Main campus) will pay GHC300.00 as electronic access fee at any of the fee collection accounts (oneoff payment)
