The University of Ghana has announced the opening of the much-anticipated undergraduate admission for prospective applicants for the 2024/2025 academic year.
With this, we will look at the application process and the category of people who are eligible to apply,
In respect to this, high school students who will be writing WASSCE this year are eligible to apply.
They will need to buy awaiting forms, most times student get confused when we say ”awaiting forms.”
It simply means that when you buy the forms online, you indicate ”awaiting” to tell the University that your results are not readily available at the time of application.
There is no need to worry about this as the University will access your results from WAEC when it is released.
The University of Ghana forms cost Ghc220 for local students and $110 for international students
The forms for local students can be obtained at any of the following banks:
Agricultural Development Bank
Ghana Commercial Bank
Zenith Bank
Universal Merchant Bank
Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG),
Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank.

If you are staying in a remote area where you cannot access any of the abovementioned banks you can purchase the forms using
*887*9# on all telecommunication networks in Ghana
Follow the prompts and make, user receives PIN and Voucher after a successful transaction.
International Students
International students seeking admission into the University of Ghana do not need to purchase an e voucher
They will have to create an account with the University and follow the prompt to make payment
