According to media reports, the US secret service CIA assumes that one of the most recent drone attacks Ukraine not the Russian president Vladimir Putin or whose residence was targeted. The US foreign intelligence service contradicts this allegations by the Russian government. On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Ukraine of taking over the residence in the Novgorod region between Moscow and St. Petersburg in the northwest of Russia to have attacked. To do this, the Ukrainian military used 91 drones on Monday night, but all of them were intercepted by Russian air defense. Russia announced that it would reconsider its stance in peace negotiations in Ukraine because of the incident.

The US President then announced Surprisingly, a very critical article about Russia of the tabloid New York Post on his platform Truth Social. The piece portrays Putin as the real hurdle on the road to peace and is harsh on him.
The Ukraine rejects Russia’s allegations as a “lie” with which the Russian government wants to create a pretext to torpedo talks on a peace solution. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj also accused Russia of trying to justify new attacks on government buildings in Kyiv with the allegations.
On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry published a Video proving the alleged attack. The remains of a drone can be seen lying in a snowy forest area and is said to have been used and shot down in the attack. Another video was also published in which a major general details, among other things, the locations, exact times and flight routes of individuals
