The German stock market ended 2025 with a strong gain of 23 percent. This makes it the best DAX stock market year in six years. On the last day of trading, the most important German stock market barometer temporarily exceeded the 24,500 point mark and closed with a daily gain of 0.57 percent at 24,490.41 points. The index was therefore just below its all-time high in October.
