In the hall of the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin there is a makeshift cinema. Or is it a church? No god is being worshiped in the dark room, and prayers cannot be heard, but there is still the greatest devotion that a group of people can experience. Strangers enjoy the work of time together here. The Clock is the name of the film montage that the museum is showing. The artist Christian Marclay completed it 15 years ago and has been traveling around the world ever since. Now it is in Berlin – and can only be seen until January 25th.
