MALAWIAN President Arthur Peter Mutharika has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of Zambia.
President Mutharika says President Hichilema’s victory is clear reflection of the confidence the people of Zambia have placed in his leadership. In a statement, Saturday, President Mutharika said he looked forward to deepening the friendship and cooperation between Malawi and Zambia.
“The First Lady and I extend our heartfelt congratulations to my brother His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema, President-elect of the Republic of Zambia, on the occasion of his re-election in last week’s general election.
His resounding victory is a clear reflection of the confidence the people of Zambia have placed in his leadership and their trust in the vision for Zambia’s continued progress.
