New date for University of Ghana Level 100 Bed Allocation Released

In a recent release by the University of Ghana Management which earlier scheduled the random allocation of beds to newly admitted students on Monday December 29, 2025 is now postponed to January 12, 2026.

However it is advised that students show interest using the registration link before they can participate

In accordance with the University of Ghana’s current In-Out-Out-Out residence policy, level 100 students who are interested in obtaining accommodation on campus are invited to sign-up for the Open Random Bed Allocation scheduled for January 12, 2026.

Available beds in the University of Ghana traditional halls will be randomly allocated to interested level 100 students for the 2025/2026 academic year.

This initiative is part of our commitment to maintaining a transparent and equitable room allocation system for students.

Points to Note:

Level 100 students interested in participating in the random bed assignment must opt-in after completing their academic registration. Use this link https://sts.ug.edu.gh to express interest.

Level 100 students seeking university accommodation are strongly encouraged to complete their academic registration early and submit the form to indicate their interest in the random assignment exercise.

The deadline to express interest is Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

The random bed allocation exercise will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 12:00 noon.The random assignment of beds to students will be conducted openly, allowing all stakeholders to observe the transparency of the process.

Important Reminders:While the University continues to make efforts to increase its residential facilities, accommodation is not guaranteed with admission. Students who are not successful in securing on-campus accommodation will need to arrange alternative accommodation.

Under no circumstances should any student or parent/guardian pay money to anyone for a bed.

This is illegal, and both the buyer and seller will face sanctions according to university regulations.“Perching,” or unauthorized residence, is illegal.

Students found guilty of this practice will face disciplinary procedures and appropriate sanctions.
