Five state elections and three local elections – 2026 will be a great election year. And at least that’s what it should be a super reform year: major laws in pensions, health and nursing care insurance are coming. In addition, several billions need to be saved. It remains to be seen whether the coalition has the strength to do this. In any case, some personalities will be particularly important, some of whom are still relatively unknown to the general public. That could change in ’26.
