Three-time Grand Slam tournament winner Stan Wawrinka will end his tennis career in 2026. The 40-year-old Swiss announced this in a post on the X platform. “2026 will be my last year on the tour,” Wawrinka wrote.

Wawrinka won three Grand Slam tournaments: the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open and 2016 US Open. In 2008 he became Olympic doubles champion in Beijing alongside Roger Federer and won the Davis Cup for Switzerland for the first time in 2014.
