In November 1986, 29-year-old secondary school teacher Dieter Huber from Sindelfingen was brutally murdered. Everything points to a robbery-murder, but the case peters out: false leads, missing evidence, indifference on the part of the investigators. It was only decades later, when DNA technology offered new possibilities, that retired inspector Rolf Siebold took up the trail again – and came across a previous suspect, an unscrupulous violent criminal from the rocker scene. Nevertheless, no one is convicted. What remains is the failure of the authorities – and the pain of a family that has not received justice to this day.
