Pacific: US military kills man in attack on alleged drug boat

The US military’s so-called Southern Command has announced another deadly attack on a boat in the Pacific. “One male narco-terrorist was killed in this action. There were no casualties on the part of U.S. forces,” Das wrote Military to X. This increases the number of people killed in US attacks on boats in the Pacific and the Caribbean.

Under the direction of the US Secretary of Defense, the military attacked “an inconspicuous ship in international waters operated by organizations classified as terrorists,” the US military continues. It was “on known drug trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific” and was “involved in drug trafficking operations.” The military did not provide any details or evidence.

The US military released a video showing water splashing near one side of the boat, then the stern of the boat catching fire. Apparently after further shots, the fire spreads until the boat drifts, unable to maneuver, with a large burning area next to it.

The USA has been attacking suspected drug ships since September, particularly off the coast of Venezuela and in the Pacific. More than 100 people have been killed so far.
